i am buying a vvl. i know they come with the ecu. what else do i need to swap it in my nx?

There is no need to buy and use the factory ECU. it is a waste of time and will get you know where.

Just buy a VE motor, get a Calum ECU, and use your stock sr20de harness.

how much do the calum ecu's go for?

look in the calum section in the vendors area. I believe the standard ecu is $180 and the realtime is $360. Somewhere around there anyways. The swap is pretty straight forward. Look in the VVL faq and there is two installs on highport cars like yours. There is a few minor mods that need to be done like making as coil bracket and getting some heater hoses. I have the napa part number for the one hose youll need if you'd like it. Read the writeups and it will make the swap all that much easier.
