yes i believe this to be true also, here in aus we only really have dynodynamics (99%) and the occasional mainline (which is the bomb apparently) and dynopak
when i fist jumped on this site i was like wtf these people are simply achieving the unachievable.
i clicked on your link and the rough guide of dynomatics to dynojet (ddx1.18=dj) seems about right. therefore our 300rwkw's (which is what i would like to get) is roughly equal to dynojet 475hp. this all seams about right. The reason the dd reads lower is because it loads the car up better, inturn resulting in lower numbers but better tune as the load is more realistic to a car does on the streets. This is my understanding of it anyway
in saying this each dyno can be calibrated differently and there are the typically happy dyno's in any brand i suppose. (with maybe the exception of mainline which is considered the unfudgeable dyno)
also i saw a pic of a dyno jet.....wtf its just a single roller, big power cars would really wanna jump off would they?
