Any way you could post up your ending timing and fuel maps? Perhaps just the far right column's?

That would be really great if there is any chance of that.

I have been tuning mine for 13.1 afr. You found it did not add hp to lean it out eh?

Thanks for any and all info.

Initially it was fairly rich, 12 or under IIRC, so he dropped fuel across the board and it did gain. After that initial adjustment, got it to pretty much 12.5 with some small peaks of 12.7 - 12.9. Ran out of time and not sure how much leaner to go - were trying for 12.9 or so.
If 13.1 - 13.2 is safe, there may be a bit more to be gained.

Ok cool.

Yea the tune i had before where i made 173whp was running 14's under wot.

I currently have it around 12.5-13.2 and it feels better. But not sure how much, my butt dyno has no calibration

Very interested in timing numbers?

Today me and Ben took the NX up to Road America today to check out some Lemans racing action. Beautiful perfect day. Cars were awesome. I'm happy to say that I am getting 33.2mpg with my tune. That was with me beating it a bit.

I'm not sure how I go about sharing my bin file per say. Is it just a matter of emailing you my file? I'm really not too computer savvy. PM me your email address and I can do that. If there is a way I can do like a screen shot I will.

There were a couple spots that I wanted to lean out some more but we were already down to "0" in a couple of blocks. I may have to play with that "K" value that someone mentioned to me. We basically tried to get rid of the peaks and valleys for the air/fuel then highlighted all the blocks and slowly leaned it out till we were around the 12.5. Never tried to lean it out anymore. I think I would like to take it out to 13.0:1 to see if it makes more power and maybe get better mileage yet.

As far as my timing map goes. We did quick adjustments with +/-3 degree increments. I'm sure we should have done a degree at a time but it was getting late that day. I would love to go back and really get deep into tuning it.

Here's a pic of my engine bay.

Hey man.

Thanks again for sending me the tune.

I wanted to mention your timing is extremely low. You are peaking at about 27deg at 8k. Calum's base VE tune peaks at 30, and that was for a conservative tune, way back when.

I was recently running a tune with 35deg peak timing and experienced no noticeable problems, thats with 93oct.

You might get a few more pony's up top if you bump it up to at least 30.

Again, playing with timing on the street is not considered safe or smart. However these lower levels of timing are both street and track proven to be safe.

Is your base timing set at 15deg BTDC?

Thanks!
