Technically the bolts should not be torqued past their yield point and therefore can be used again. However given the fact new head bolts are not very expensive, and most torque wrenches are not completely accurate it is cheap insurance to replace them.

Nissan headbolts and main bolts = $100

Aftermarket Headbolts and main bolts = $300

why replace the bolts with stronger bolts that are not needed. Just buy new Nissan bolts on your build and save $200 while having bolts that can more than hadle your needs.

Maybe the best big motor build but time will tell when the 2.45L stuff get figured out.

so throwing out vague price estimation:

VE block sleeved and machined for $1300
92mm 12 to 1 compression Pistons for $600
Mazwork VE headgasket $250
stock 8 CW crank $0
Kelford 184c cams $850
Supertech Springs and retainers $350
new bearings $200
custom header $900??

so thats almost $4,500 right there, not too crazy, what other major pieces am I missing?

New oil pump is a must on a new build.
