I have learned not to let any one ride your horse as it might bring insanity later on.

Yep, the n/a car may get a slight jump while we spin a bit but even then the topend is just not the same as a turbo car. haha

yeah, id like to see an n/a car hit 180+mph. haha, not gonna happen.

My buddies ae86 corolla with a fully built 2.1L F20 in it that i did a while back has trouble going much over 145mph, it just dies. Full throttle gas on it it just wont accelerate any more. Just doesnt have enough power and it takes a bit to get up to that 145. You saw how quick i hit 130+ spinning the crap out of the tires through 4th gear. You just dont get that from an n/a car. haha

I still love the sound Cory's car makes going down the track and i have much respect for these sick n/a builds. But just like Rob, im a turbo junkie at heart. I gave the ve a try and it just wasnt the same.

Your NA days were over a LONG time ago. You turbo guys gotta admit though, 275-300whp NA isn't a bad way to go. Besides, you guys know what's next, right? Someone's thinking big bore 2.4L VE-T. Now THAT would be the unreal build. Let's see what gains the 2.3-2.4L builds produce NA for now. By the end of this year there will be a few on the roads with some impressive driving impressions both on and off the track. Keep in mind SE-Rican, Stratton & Ashton have high hp turbo setups. We expect you guys to run the numbers. Very few expect that an NA 11 sec VE could be possible and Cory has paved the way for the rest of us NA diehards. Easier to make big hp from a snail. That's what makes NA challenging and frustrating but when it comes together it's also priceless. Keep in mind where the VE was just 2-3 years ago on this forum. Now is an exciting time with lots more to come.
