if im reading what youve been saying in various threads correctly, 230-250whp can not be a reality with out a custom intake mani. wich as well all know none are avaliable or even produced.
stratton.
The N1 intake manifold has better flow abilities as well as atomization than the standard intake manifold. They both lack enough combined flow for much power over 200whp (SAE Give or take).
Sure you can increase the compression, reduce friction, increase thermaldynamic efficiency and make a lot more power, but when it comes to making power from volumetric efficiency, then yes, the Intake manifold seems to be the factor that will continue to hold back these motors.
With all that said, If you can not make more power much easier by reving the motor higher because of intake flow restriction, then just add displacement.
After the 20v/N1 cams get developed and produced, I will be working on a permanent Intake manifold solution. I have the ability to get a few welded prototypes made and then get molds made and possibly start casting these intakes.... All in due time though. There is only 2 of us and I can only do so much.
