Thanks for all the info Andreas. What is the part number on the sleeves we use on VEs? If I do this it will be a little way off as the new engine has cleaned me out for a while.
Kevin Ban said he would make different cams for a bigger engine so it would be interesting to see what he would come up with as he's pretty good with strokers, just look at his 320whp Honda NA Honda!
Speaking of Kelford cams, if you just shave 1mm off the top of the SR16VE pistons (like my build), you won't have a lot of room to play with cam timing with Kelford 184-Cs. Good idea to deepen the cutouts if you're starting from scratch.
This may even mean that there are piston to valve clearance problems with standard pistons... I never thought to ask. Not that they're designed for standard pistons anyway.
