Although true, like i said, much respect for n/a build. Never though i would see an 11 sec n/a se-r any time soon. Cory has set the way. 275whp n/a is insane and ill give the credit where its due. Cant wait to see some even bigger numbers and faster times. Definetly starting to make some big turbo setups look very bad, haha

Now THAT would be the unreal build. Let's see what gains the 2.3-2.4L builds produce NA for now. By the end of this year there will be a few on the roads with some impressive driving impressions both on and off the track. Keep in mind SE-Rican, Stratton & Ashton have high hp turbo setups. We expect you guys to run the numbers. Very few expect that an NA 11 sec VE could be possible and Cory has paved the way for the rest of us NA diehards. Easier to make big hp from a snail. That's what makes NA challenging and frustrating but when it comes together it's also priceless. Keep in mind where the VE was just 2-3 years ago on this forum. Now is an exciting time with lots more to come.

Trust me I am not knocking NA cars. Cory's car is putting down better times in the 1/4 than most turbo cars on this forum are and it is trapping just as high. Also when I had my NA VE my car ran like a champ. Hell I yanked many T-25 cars. Cory's car would hurt the average turbo cars feelings.

I for one am far from being a turbo junkie. I am just neck deep into my build so that's whay I feel I must finish it. I know I will have a very reliable 450-500 whp car which is what I am shooting for.

Like I mentioned earlier. You drop a nice shot of smack on Cory's SE-R and it will be lights out for most Turbo cars.

let me first start off by saying i think you sold your car and dont have the heart to tell your boys ;p. haha.

yeah man, a n/a car is a great way to do it. i still love the massive trq and non stop top end in my turbo car.

ive said it numerous times the best car i ever owned was my n/a blue nx, hands down put a smile on my face ever day with out fail.

corys car is amazing for the simple fact hes doing these numbers hp wise and et wise on 12:5:1 compression, when alot of k's need higher to make that. just think what these big 2.4's are gonna do.

ill say it agian, i will build one bad ass n/a street motor one day.

keep it up boys ! rob the forum demands you get in the garage these weekend and at least make an attempt !

stratton.

Rich I would never sell my car. I have owned the damn thing 13 years now. If you ever see me post my car forsale then there is a huge problem.

I have been in Louisiana working this oil spill for the last few months. Once I get home I have plans to get to work. I have reached a point where I really miss my car. It's time to get wrencing. I really want to make the Convention next year.

Well we can't say we didn't expect this outburst, lol. Just for this time, don't close the thread. This could get interesting.

And for on topic, is there any noticible sound difference on the 2.3L VE's or is sound more changed when you mess with stroke? Cory's car seems to sound the same as the 2.0s but the clock tells a different story

Alex, if you have a problem with an individual, please keep it to the subject at hand. Argue your point with a passion and dont let anyone sway you from that point unless proven wrong. There is no need to call someone names or call someone out like that in such a degrading fashion. It show a true lack of maturity,

Shawn B knows who he is and has lived within his skin for the past 40 plus years and I am 100% sure he is cumfortable with who he is.

Alex, I know you to be a much better person than that and hope you can see where this type of hatred leads down a path that makes no sense. I feel if you are not willing to call someone out infront of their face like that then there is no need to be like that behind the protection of a computer.
