Ga16...VVL solenoid Not same!

So people say they work but there not the same not in a long shot...

Sr20ve is the longer one, It has no rubber seal, bigger ports and a ballbearing bottom....

yeah,I wondered about this.
I swear I saw Greg Amy was gonna try the GA16 ones on his vvl....wonder what happened.

Well i got a PM saying it was working.

The VVL on has a ballbearing in it also, would this be to hold pressure for quick activation ect?

ballbearing might be for a one way vave to keep oil in it?...just a guess

My z32 has a ballbearing on the oil filter block so you can take off the filter without draining the oil...seriously

Maybe this keeps it primed,or something.

What year is that from? They prob have a different years.

I've looked at other Ga16 in forsale threads on here and they all look the same.

um this is from a 91-94 N14/B13 car.

personally i haven't tried it yet, but i did get a ga16 solenoid that i will use for testing as my ve project is still ongoing. here's a couple of links where greg amy mentions the ga16 solenoids work on a ve.
