Thread: Torque specs for stock VE head studs

Does the SR20VE shares the same torque specs for the rod bolts and head studs as the SR20DE??

here is how you do it for the head studs

1. torque to 30 ft pound
2. then torque to 58 ft pound
3. then lossen all bolts.
4. torque to 30 ft pound
5. then torque 90 degrees
6. then torque another 90 degrees

Make sure all the head bolts are completly soaked in oil before installation.

I do not have the rod bolt instructions with me
