What people need to understand about the N1 inj setup is.

All the 8 injs in a N1 are 333cc. The once closest to the head run under low RPM and the ones on the bottom further away from the head run under high RPM for better fuel atomazation as the inj has more time to get the fuel vaporized.

this is what i meant... also cant someone use the stock injectors to keep a better idle and then run the secondary to come on in when the primaries are overwhelmed for a high hp app. ? whatabout using the secondary holes for nitrous?.. correct if i am wrong in what i am saying.

I never realised that Andreas... so if you had a standalone ECU that would support all 8 injectors, it could be a handy function to hook up if you have the ECU change injectors when the map switched over to high lobes.

Now the next question would be, how would you set it up on a 2L or 2.2L / 2.3L engine, perhaps have 333cc top & 370cc bottom or 370cc top & 440cc bottom?

Lets say the average 2.3L VE will make 250-270 WHP.

4 185 cc = 125 WHP * Pink GA16
4 259 cc = 175 WHP * Red SR20DE

I would run 4 259cc injs and 4 185cc injs which would be good for 300 WHP when running all together.

I would have the 259cc run from idle to cam switch over and then have the other set of 185cc injs come on and run along side the first set. This in my opinion would give the best fuel atomazation as these injs would be best for the WHP needs. Even better if you stepped the fuel presure up to 4 bar.

If you want to run it how Nissan is doing it then maybe 333cc injs for the low speed and for high rpm then step up to 440cc S15 injs.

^^ I didn't know either until Custom Steal and Mossy teamed up to make a custom top feed one 3 years back.

also, dual injectors that use different size injectors have been done for awhile now. look at the RX7's, don't they 2 different size injectors?

edit: looks like someone took the pics down. I have it saved in my computer if anyone is interested.

All 8 inj run all the time in N1 motor.
