Not sure if this is the rite place but never the less......whats the highest whp figure that anyones got from a Calum basic program and with what mods, timing and octane fuel ???

There are a lot of variables at work that make this sort of an unfair comparison. What are you looking for out of this? The reliability of his setup? It's potential? How safe it is? Ease of use? How much power can YOU can expect with similar mods?

There are cars with the same mods that don't make the same power running AEM EMS, I used to see it all the time in the 240 realm, not to mention majority of the cars potential comes from the nerd behind the keyboard.

You may want to see if there is someone who has tuned with Calum's setup as well as others and see what they thinks of it.

well i know that its safe and its easy to use. what i wanna know is as is said. do u have ppl making 190 whp with these ecus and if so with what mods and timing and octane gas....

What you worrying about? U should do that with the mods you told me you want to do. Based on the projects I've looked at in the other forum (when I was trying to make a decision on my project), I see people making over 200whp. You have sent yourself a reasonable target and the formula is there for it and I think you HAVE it.

debating about calum, is like debating about swaping a sr20det. if you got the money go for it, you wont be disapointed

ive put down 190whp/150tq wit calums basic ecu..basic boltons w sr16 cams..safc to tune

Many of my friends are making decent power with Calum Basic ECU's (190-200whp).

A few of them are over 200 whp with a Calum Basic piggy backed with a S-AFC. One of them is at 210 whp.

Calum ECU's kickass...
