VE IACV hose
hey guys help me out, I'm planning on doing a swap next week and so far I got everything but I was looking the IACV on the VE and I see it got a short hose that I it does not reach any vaccum nipple on the manifold, maybe I'm missing something here, help me out where this hose hooks up to?

You can barely see it here, but it runs into the intake piping after the MAF. I have a custom intake tube so your setup may look a little different. To answer your question, run a hose from that metal line to your intake tube.

Look on the bottom side of the pipe near the blue coupler...

oh ok...I figure, just like the DE IACV hose to the intake,
the reason I doubt it was that there's already a hose but it is real short and there was no way in hell that it would reach the intake tubing.

thanks for the input.

Well, when I received the motor I noticed the above pipe was bent to a kink, as I'm sure you noticed in the above picture. This tube (which leads to your IACV) needs to be run into your intake tract or the car will not idle correctly. So I bent the pipe out (See picture below) and then ran a hose from there to a nipple on my intake piping.

awesome feedback...the motor i recieved has some of the same issues you mentioned as far as broken bits so I will have to sort it all out as I go.

If you get bored, flip through my build thread, it covers everything that was busted when I got mine.
