Potential vvl owner
Good day guys,

I haven't been on the site for ages but been looking around for some time but I figure I can get some help here.

So I am from Antigua and looking to import either a p11 manual(de) and then swap over to a ve engine or buy a p12 20v.

I am open to pros and cons of the P12 but specifically I would like to know what I have in terms of ecu tuning options for the P12.

Would I have to go standalone to get the full benefits of the engine or if I plan to go turbo or do I have an alternative option?

Where can I get coilovers or lowering springs?

Is there a way to change that infotainment system that comes in them?

Any help is much appreciated as I am just getting back into the Nissan game.

Welcome. Another one of our forum members @karibah is from Antigua as well. I visited Antigua in Nov 2019. What a beautiful country. Although I wasn't able to see any runs at North Sound Dragway, it looked like an amazing track.

Pro's- much better cams, bigger sump, bigger harmonic balancer, cas and cop. slightly more comp.
Con's- dwb throttle body (great if standalone, but changeable otherwise) weaker timing chain (seen failures) less aftermarket support (headers/intakes).cost.

the easiest way is to use the de harness and ecu with a daughter board (nistune/nismotronic), not the p12 harness. however a standalone ecu and custom harness is a choice upgrade.

g20 p11
did you ever decide what year you planned on importing.

there are a few builds that were logged on here regarding g20's being swapped and their ecu choices

i think once you narrow down what year g20 you're after, then you can piece together the rest
