Thread: please need help.

I need to buy new piston rod bearings for my sr20ve. I have looked for them online by part number and I get the bearings for sr20de. my question is are they the same? or is there anybody here in the forum that sells them. Im clueless with this so I would appreciate any help.

yes SR20VE rod bearings are the same bearings as SR20DE either oem(use grade markings on crank and rod to determine bearing grade for each rod) or aftermarket like ACL or whatever type you like.

For VE is it 17mm or 19mm

All sr20 variants use 17mm rod bearings, except for the gtir which uses 19mm rod bearings.

What are you using for a rod? What is the reason for replacement? Before jumping and buying a standard rod bearing, this information is key.
