SR20 de crank on sr20ve
Has anyone tried the DE crank on a sr20ve build? I think the DE is 8CW while VE has 4CW. It's for NA build!

I am running a DE crank in my VE. 17K miles with no issues. Just make sure you measure your bearings and have everything balanced.

NA is big on power-to-weight, right? Why use a heavier crank then?

In my case the VE crank was toast, I had a DE crank laying around.

They are both pretty awesome cranks. Doubt you will reach the HP/TQ limit on either. 4cw is a lot lighter crank if you are building a revver.

8CW - DE/DET/VET/20V
4CW - RR/VE

As everyone has stated above, yes you can use it.

Generally speaking most people opt for a heavier crank for turbo builds, and a lighter crank for n/a builds.

I currently have a de crank in my ve engine, it works great. One thing I did have to do in order to use the vvl crank pulley on the de crank was to purchase one of these spacers from gspec.

Do not bump a 4-year-old thread to look for parts. This isn't even the classifieds section.
