Sorry for your confusion, there's absolutely nothing bad about a b15 trans. What I strongly disagree with,is his statement that the clutch will last longer and won't break by running a stronger b15 trans. That's "preposterous"

Never heard of that theory EVER.

It's not really a theory. I have evidence- I broke 2 JGY clutch discs (springs broke/popped out) in my B13 trans. Found a another used disc and put it in the new B15 trans and it ran forever. The B15 trans is so much better than the B13/14 it's ridiculous.

It's a theory, no one has ever proven that. Just because you're the only one who alleged that, we should believe you? Lol. there's no possible way you could prove what you're saying, plus you had the good old jgy pos clutches, what do you expect lol, stop misleading people Jordan, please!!

Oh man. So tell me please - what possible benefit would I have to mislead people about using a B15 transmission over any other? It's been discontinued by Nissan for almost 15 years. I can only post what has worked for me. The B15 trans can handle up to 400WHP. The B13/B14, be careful going over 200WHP.

Really? Why don't you enlighten us on your theory so we could understand.

I'm moreso curious why you think a B15 tranny swap is a "preposterous" idea. With a new transmission comes a new (likely bigger) clutch disk... no?

And, no it doesn't mean that you run a bigger clutch disk or anything else when running the b15 lsd trans from the 2.0 sr20de sentra. We are talking 2.0 sentra not 2.5 spec v.

You forgot to read this Jordan. By the way, relax Jordan, it bothers me to see you get aggravated over nothing really, I'm just trying to help the OP and the future readers of this thread. If i read misleading info I correct it to the best of my knowledge.

Ok, so to summarize this for OP's problem

-Check dowel pins
-Check splines on input shaft
-Torsional vibration levels?, Check flywheel, balance if needed.
-What crankshaft pulley are you using? Stock/AluUnderdrive/ATI superdamper?

I am relaxed.. not aggravated at all. I can only tell people what worked for me, and the B15 transmission is amazing. Although this is all mute because OP has AWD.

Yes, I'm informing from what I've personally encounterd myself and other findings from cars that I've put together, but as you stated yourself, your alleged findings are irrelevant to the op's issues, so why keep beating a dead horse?

And for the record, your choice of trans will not dictate the life of your clutch disk or if it will die prematurely, the trans has nothing to do with the life of a clutch disk PERIOD. Lastly, "keep regurgitating bullshit info while other people push the game to a whole different level"

I'm not arguing, just simply stating the facts. I wouldn't want someone to go and buy a trans that they don't need, do to reading your myths/theories on this thread. Let's move forward on helping the op diagnose his issue, shall we, Jordan?
