What kind of driving do you do? It's hard to believe this could happen to anything that's not tracked regularly

Really? Why don't you enlighten us on your theory so we could understand.

I'm moreso curious why you think a B15 tranny swap is a "preposterous" idea. With a new transmission comes a new (likely bigger) clutch disk... no?

Sorry for your confusion, there's absolutely nothing bad about a b15 trans. What I strongly disagree with,is his statement that the clutch will last longer and won't break by running a stronger b15 trans. That's "preposterous"

Never heard of that theory EVER.

And, no it doesn't mean that you run a bigger clutch disk or anything else when running the b15 lsd trans from the 2.0 sr20de sentra. We are talking 2.0 sentra not 2.5 spec v.

Not trying to argue here, just discrediting false and misleading information. Don't want you to go buy a trans for the wrong reason.

Now we are on to something, that sounds more possible.

honestly, I think its the way I was launching on a non-sprung disc. The harsh instant engagement tear dropped the holes which sheared the rivets. I'm on a sprung (b15) disc now.

It might have been, I mean you guys remember how storm88000 drove his car as well, there's a video on youtube with his mother. Anyways it does consist of how hard you drive, but 15 passes doesn't sound right tho.

I would check the splines on the trans as stated before, there might be play on the disk causing it to wobble a bit.

Also while the trans is off, go ahead and install the pilot bearing just in case. That's actually the first thing that I thought would be the problem, but it hasn't happened to me or anyone I know so I can't say that's the issue for sure.

The input shaft has minor movement from when I put on the clutch...... And there is no place for a pilot bearing on the ve crank
