Thread: Crank sensor help on SR16VE transmission

A few months ago, a friend of mine sold me his SR16VE transmission and installed it into my SR20VE powered B14. There was not a spot for the the crank sensor like there is for the original B14 transmission, so a hole was drilled in the exact location needed to accommodate the sensor. The code being pulled is a 1336 misfire, which in my past experience shows up with the incorrect amount of teeth on the flywheel. However, I own the proper flywheel and this code showed up after the SR16VE transmission was installed. Has anyone on here experienced a similar issue, and could it be coincidental that the sensor is just faulty? Thanks in advance!
