First crank after swap
Do most people after their ve swap just put oil in and crank or do they go through a process? Since the motor has been sitting for x amount of time should I prime the motor by dry cranking (no fuel) to get oil where it needs to be?

Really not a huge deal, but I do it every time I change oil and I definitely did the first time I started my swap. It's so easy, plus you can make sure everything else sounds right before it gets fired. If you are close, GL dude!

Yeah, I have everything swapped over besides the ac bracket and pass axle bracket. Also, need to extend iacv and aac harness wires. Hopefully , I'll have time this Thursday to put it in.

defintely dude, every jdm motor that i put in i put oil in it, unplug the injectors and crank away for about 15 seconds to let oil pressure build and cycle through the engine. plug the injectors back in and bam starts up good with no noise at all. Definetly not worth the possibility of spinning a bearing or something because if it has no oil or very little on the bearings the shock of it starting up could do damage. Better safe than sorry.
