Cam Timing
Right, I know where has been a few threads kicking about the tinternet about Cam Timing on these engines but its mostly all conflicting information or not relevant.

Anyway Basic Information on my build first:
Engine Freshly Built 5000 Miles ago...

SR16VE Block with SR20DE Crank.
N1 Pistons, 1mm shaved + 1mm Deeper Valve Relief's
Thermocoated Pistons
Standard Head Gasket
SR16VE.N1 Head (+ Intake)
N1 Cams
SSAC Header (4-2-1)
370cc Injectors
Balanced Internals

So Basically the engine is all ran in, and drives like new, revs right to 8500 RPM with no issues and does it smoothly, I have done a base map to match this setup and AFR's are ok.

Anyway its obviously got high compression, I am maybe looking to keep the top end as is but maybe add a little more midrange to the power band, Just want to know what peoples thoughts are on what is a good setting for Camshaft Adjustment.

Oh and It has CS Adjustable Cam Gears,

replace the headers to compliment to rest of the engine, and then go to a dyno, and experiment. i've seen alot of n1 cammed ve's end up at +5,-5, but i've seen a few threads there guys have made more power at around the 2's with ssac's.

At the moment a new Header is out of the question now, Mortgage has seen to that, so I need to work with the SSAC at the moment, So you reckon having it on the Dyno is best way to work it?
