Thread: Timing settings help

So iv helped a friend put his pulsar together, ill list a quick spec off the top of my head.

4-1 manifold
3" from manifold back
3" intake pipe
Standard airbox with k&n filter (should I fit a cone filter)
Sr16ve
2.0 crank and rods
N1 pistons
N1 cams
Nistune ecu
Gspec cam gears


What should the gears be set at, car will be mapped in a few weeks but I'd like to have them set to optimum position before mapping as it's hassle to try set them up on the dyno
