Ve oil squirters
A few things have happen and I wanted to see if anyone has blocked off the oil SQUIRTERS on a VE/DET Im currently building a high comp DE and I notch 2 Pistons on the wrong side and I broke off 2 SQUIRTERS so I have decided to block them off, I was originally going to use a de block with no SQUIRTERS but the block had substantial detonation damage so I picked up a VE block from a buddy for free so I don't think blocking them off should be a problem would it the car will only see road on weekends for test and tunes at the track ITS NOT A daily driven car! Any suggestions on what to use to block them off would be appreciated

I know I did my research and seen that I know the block has SQUIRTERS but the car will never see no more than 5-10 miles on the track, my question is would it be kosher to block them off? Honda boys do it all the time hell I might order a golden eagle kit to see if it's the same bolt 😂😭

there's a post thats been deleted some how on that thread. ben fenner sited a post from snickers made ages ago, about motors he's seen blown up because there was no cooling oil getting to the underside on a piston. you need either the oil squirters or the genuine rod oil squirters

I should have asked him how he did it finding the spacers was a PITA but I got the green light from my machine shop about blocking them off he said they aren't needed like everyone is making them out to seem and I trust him with anything motor wise the guy is a GURU lol post pictures I want to see what other ways to do it I might build a VE soon as well
