Thread: Q45 throttle body, any tips available regarding wiring, tuning and even install?

I an installing a new intake with Q45 throttle body (well had it for over 2 years :rolleyes in a few weeks, and searched for threads with info, but I only found a tps connection wiring diagram which seem straight forward. Just thought I would see if I can get any tips regarding setting it up for tune in nismtronic, or even install do's/don't s. If there is a reliant thread already please pop up the link.

As others have suggested make the intake tubing 3.5" and as long as possible, I will be testing this in a few months after i get my plenum modified for the Q45 TB. Your tune will need quite a bit of work with the new plenum, just take it easy and watch your AFRs. I know my efficiency of the motor went way up with just the plenum, i did not need to add a whole lot of fuel but most of the map needed tweaking. Just expect some good gains. Get the AFRs roughed in then get on the dyno, makes a whole lot of difference.
