E60 MAF on B13 VE
Any gain by using E60 maf instead of DE maf on my B13 VE?

You won't gain hp with a maf change, the e60 maf supports more hp and with the correct tune has the potential to increase hp.

I would highly recommend the VE or E60/N60 maf or larger. Especially if you are going to be revving it high. The gains wont be much, but will be more with mods.

The myth about the maf not making power is more for the DE guys that only rev to 7,500 or so. The gains are made high in the rpm range. ie above 7K

DE maf is only 2.5" diameter if I recall. All others are 3" and larger

THE VE CAME WITH A 3" MAF FOR A REASON

N1 VE's which are 1.6L's use a 3.5" MAF btw

You don't get better fuel consumption with a MAF upgrade. You get it by tuning the fuel&spark maps...

Yes you will see gains with a larger MAF ... I will also add that the induction as a whole is chocked on a SR20 DE and more so on a VE .. Unless your running an excessive intake manifold Q45 TB and 3.5" intake your engine will pull vacuum at WOT .. And as long as you see vacuum you are losing power !!

I tuned CJ's VE on his B14 and ran it to about 16.2:1 AFR in the cruising range and drive from Vegas to San Diego he got about 390ish mi to that tank ..
