VE dyno results - VIDEO & GRAPH Attached.
Went to the dyno shop yesterday and yielded 177whp and 146wtq. STOCK CAMS

VIDEO IS BELOW:

1st & 3rd run : 3rd gear
2nd run: 4th gear
I am operating the car/dyno

video here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/854448626m3ph8y/brians_SER_sm.wmv?dl=0

Only mods are:
WAI
SSAC header
test pipe
2.25-2.5" exhaust
Stock Cams
OBDI wiring (I'm not an expert on this stuff).
7900 rpm rev limiter

Flat torque 120+ from 2250 rpm to over 7000 rpm. For what it is, very impressive compared to a full bolt on engine DE.
----But a far cry from a turbo.

Why are you floating the valves to 8200 when the stock cam peaks at 7200ish rpm?

couldn't tell ya...
that's what the redline was set at by the previous owner.
I just went till she hit it on all three runs.

correction..... 7900 rpm's per graph.
Tach was indicating 8200 +/- but we all know these can be inaccurate.

And looks like peak is around 6800-6900 rpm.
Torque still at 140+ from 5000-6500
Torque above 120 from 2200 rpm till over 7200rpm.

Wanted to go through the entire range to see what the engine would do. One never knows if the previous owner's mods or stories are correct.
I can see from the graph that I should shift around 7200-7300 rpm, b/c after that we are starting to fall off a bit.

Well since you just got the car go outside and pull the screws out of your throttle plate and put lock tight on them. They come lose and like to get sucked into the motor.

If you can just set the revlimiter to 7500. Seems like your setup is peaking @ 6800 so reving out to higher isn't going to make you faster.

---- I don't even know where this rev limiter is. The wiring under the dash scares me.

Thx....i'm pretty familiar with racing. Was pretty good back in the early 90's, when most of y'all were in diapers. In fact, a lot of friends handed me their keys to drive their cars to race others' b/c I could drive.

I have duplicated many magazine times with stock cars (mustangs/camaro/corvette)...and the ones I couldn't duplicate times, I was usually within 0.1 - 0.2 tenths.

My b14 is strictly for road courses and occasional street driven just to keep everything working properly. Road Course RPM's are typically 4,000 to 7,000. It's cheap, fun, and reliable. I can't see spending $55k on a new corvette to drive it six times a year on a track.

Thanks again for the feedback.
