Update: Exhaust Leak fixed!
First Drive Notes:
Car feels solid as a tank! Prothanes and new front ES sway bar bushing tightened the car considerably. Now, the JWT pp is stiff, much stiffer than stock and grabs low (run out of cable adjustment so will have to do the cable mod). Cams are not hooked up properly yet - for some reason the Summit RPM box does not pickup the ECU pin#2 rpm signal well - will play with that later. I only took it to 3500rpm and it runs well, fidanza helped with the rpm, feels light on its feet - can't wait till the VVL kicks in!
Small annoyance (that's all that is) when the engine is cold, the rpm goes to 3K then settles to 1K after a min or two, but cold engine idling the idle jumps from 1k to 1.5K (twice a second), I know I do not have any vacuum leaks, so not sure what that is - mind you this goes away when it warms up. Other than that, engine sounds different, more metallic sounding than my DE (had a slight rod knock), I like it so far
My Fuel pressure is about 36-38psi at idle, pressure rises during idle when I rev it up to about 42psi. Is that the correct pressure?
