what are the difference between GTiR SR20 block and SR20VET block

Oil pump and crank.

Apart from the oil pump and crank is the block itself different in any way ?

water pump and cooling jackets in the block are slightly different. gti-r will not have vvl oil holes and the vet will. the gti-r has slightly larger headstuds as well.

I've never had a VET block in my hands, but I suspect that the water pump, oil filter block, and oil galleries would be different, as well as the head studs. Unsure if it takes the same upper and lower oil pan but unlikely. Otherwise, any sr oil pump should bolt on, Awd trans should bolt on as it's a narrow block etc
