ve a/c?
if i'm using the stock sr20ve a/c compressor and i need to recharge the a/c which should i use the r12 or r134a?

If the car had R12 before then you should put R12 back in if u can find a place that sells it. If ur going to R134 ur going to need a new dryer unit if u want it to work right. This is just what a A/C shop told me.

this is not correct. the only think a person needs to do to change from r12 to r134a is to change the oil in the compressor. so if u have a compressor that is from a r134a system already then u just need to change the gas. the expansion valve will still work. the dryer just filters the freon in the system from impurities that can block the system.

i was just wondering because i thought i had the orginal ve a/c part on the motor. but thinking about it i think i swapped over a sr20de one
