BJ's vs Xcessive manifold
Looking into getting an IM, and these are the two I'm looking at. Not too sure if BJ's still makes IM's for ve's but I found a number for them and will be calling them sometime next week. I know the PR guys are having good results with the Xcessive manifolds, but I haven't seen any results for the BJ's. Just curious if anyone has any proven dyno results with the BJ's manifold, and what are the max gains seen from an Xcessive manifold.

its a very good question, and one i'd bet no-one has a dyno comparison for.

gato performance make the bj-style one. very nice piece, and about the $975usd mark.the xcessive plenum (standard sr20ve runnered one) is only about the $300 mark. the PR guys will tell you though, it needs to be ported out a bit to work better, and there's a cost factor to consider there.

Do you know the specs on the gato manifold, like runner length.......and do you have a number for them?

I have 1 of 2 Marshtuned VE intakes that I'd be willing to let go for $850
two things though
1) it's not a show piece
2) requires top feed injectors(also have those that you can have for a price)

The other intake is in nismo94tuner's hands, iirc.

Taken directly from his sale thread of this very manifold

Description:
(Custom SR20VE intake manifold w. Q45 TB. 8.5" long from flange to top of bellmouth. 52mm billet velocity stacks. Made 15.6whp over stock on a stock 2.0L VE with cams before tuning on a budget header. With a better header/tuning expect higher gains. Too many projects going on at once and cant waste anymore time testing/playing around. We have 2 of these in house and only need 1.
