Header was installed today. I wasn't there to witness but there were apparently some clearance issues with the lower oil pan edge.

strange, I have no such issues. id chalk it up to Chinese manufacturing, they aren't exactly the most consistent if the ssac header is any kind of indication.

Second picture shows where it was touching. Apprently they heated the header tube and squashed it a little to clear better. No issues on the alternator side.

It's more the edge of the lip that turns back. I'm sure it can even be removed without any issues.

Did you have to pull the radiator/fans etc to fit it in?

I didn't have to, there was plenty of room to get the header in there.
