CAN'T START after VE swap!!
.. So my swap of VE into my 91 NX2000 is done, so I went to start it and crank after crank - but it wouldn't start. This is what I've done:
- Checked for the spark - took out one of the spark plug wires, connected spare spark plug to it, grounded it and checked for spark - Found spark and moved on..
- I have a fuel pressure gauge so it does show pressure of about 48psi during cranking, but it seems the injector pulse is not present - I am not sure how to test for it properly, this is what I've done: took out one plug from injector #1 and plugged in Voltmeter, during cranking did not show any voltage changes
- maybe there is a better way of testing it?? (I could open up a spark plug and smell if fuel is getting to the cylinders) Let me know
I am using Calum ECU, DE maf, DE harness (including the injector harness). What else can it be, Help would be appreciated.
