In either case its not cheaper, I already have the crank/rods/pistons.

I'm going with the bore and I'm going to build the stroked bottom end as well.

Chamber volumes came in at 40cc so 1.8 cc down on a stock head.

Thats a relief to me as the head was supposed to have had a 1mm skim.

The 88m pistons are 12.5:1 comp.

So now what thickness gasket should I be aiming for...

a few questions first... what is the deck measurement? Deck measurement is the difference in height of the block, versus the height of the piston @ TDC. Does the piston stick above, or below the block, and if so... how much??

squish = the gap between piston (@ TDC) and head

Again... my experience is with Toyota... but you want the "squish" to be as tight as possible without the piston hitting the head. On a 4AGE I try to have the squish at somewhere between .8mm, and 1.0mm.

Bottom end has not been assembled yet, as soon as it is all this will be checked.

Has anyone ever done 88x92, and if so what were the results?
