TheSam mentioned in his first post Kelfords... but nothing else... if he is planning on BIG duration... then it is wiser to go with the shorter stroke, if he is running relatively mild duration he can add the stroke

not knowing SR20 as well as I know Toyota's 4AGE... but if I were a gamblin man... I'd say these cams are designed for twisting... so keep the stroke short

All else being equal as far as displacement and flow is concerned, the engine with the larger stroke will make heaps more torque. It's all in the leverage on the crank. You'll have faster pistons speeds, which limit your revs...

For me, it's simple. Do the bore, not the stroke. In your case it is simpler, more reliable, cheaper, and in theory I will take bore over stroke any day of the week for the higher revs, power, lower torque, etc.
But that's me...
