Thread: Help Valve spring retainer and valve shims

Hi, I have a RWD SR20VET with P11 head, have lost two shims of intake valves and valve springs retainer has damaged.
I want to know if the shims and valve spring retainer of a sr20de fit on sr20ve head or if they are different.

Nope they are different, Harley Davidson V-Rod shims fit the VE. If you do a search for hotcams shims on the forum it should give you info for a shim kit that you can buy on Ebay if no Harley dealer is near you. Look in the N/A section to see if anyone is parting out a VE head and pick up another stock retainer. If not Supertech's for you.
