Can you use the VTEC option to activate the solenoids in the Configure Outputs section of GPIO?

i have one relay per solenoid, i only had an issue with my personal car and never any car that i have set up, with or without relays

I did a load test on both of them ... I think even AEM should be able to handle such a small current.. On MegaSquirt ECU's we have 2 high current drivers that support 15A through the ECU and even the Injector Drivers support 5A .. I suspect AEM should do 5A as well at the injector driver ... Maybe run a 5A fuse back into the ECU to be safe .. Remember if you blow something you don't have the luxury if looking at the board and the BOM and replacing a 65 cent - $4 part so Jimmy Up with a Fuse..

Thanks allot for posting this up! If I am seeing your picture right you are measuring 2.35A for BOTH solenoids....

Yes you are correct.. So I would think even the AEM can handle such a small circuit requirement
