Thread: Extending O2 sensor

I wanna extend the wires on my o2 sensors because I wanna buy and mod b18c 4-1 headers for the sr20 and was wondering would there be any drawbacks to extending the wires to meet my need ...also if anyone can supply any info on modding the header that would be greatly appreciated thanks

As long as you make good connections and use good wire it will be fine. Ive done it a few times before.

Keep in mind the o2 sensor wiring is very long and you may be able to reroute the wires without cutting into it.

Im hoping thats the case but I like to plan for the worst case scenario
