The mid range more than makes up for it and I still wont be at the dyno til next week til I'm confident in the cometic gasket. It has this I don't know "ummmpphh" 4-6200rpm or something. If peak is 194whp or something so be it - I don't have to step on it fairly hard approaching VVL keep up with traffic. Having a car in the mid 200WHP range with only mid 140's in torque you have no choice really to get up to speed. Plus I already ordered the Nismotronic and to test that one as well.

Hey since JWT is giving me SOTP more midrange, should I lower VVL a few hundred RPM on the MSD? like 4800 instead of 5200?

Went from a Marsh Tune to JWT? LOL I'll say, VERY first pull 150whp. Just because you did the headgasket yourself.

No, stop farting around with the car and the tune. Do the little back-to-back without changing stuff and please post your results.

If I had a John Kerr (which I do) or Jamie Marsh tuned ECU. Playing with that component of my car would be the last thing on my mind.

You've gone through two headgaskets before I go through one set of front brake pads. That is something wrong and I stomp on my brakes hard as fawk. I would figure out why it keeps overheating.

I'm doing this for science if in fact you guys are right, then we have definitive proof

Im not going to alter the MSD now, only after the dyno. And for the record the head gasket was going when I first bought the car 3 years ago. This most recent one really didn't "go" - it overheated because it had no oil, because of that piece of metal (whatever it was) obstructed about 70 percent of the pickup tube. Sheesh. No need to take this personally they are just toys built of aluminum plastic metal an fabric

BTW not that I could make a better one, in fact I'd have no idea and would have a better chance of flying around the room, but I don't think the Marsh ECU is that great anyway. It has nothing that the JWT or my new Nismotronic has. Same shit. VE tune, stock 333inj, N60 maf, N1 cams, except Marsh's had a 8400 fuel cut. Its not like he knows some crazy unknown technology. Its a 8 bit or whatever circuit board. At least when you open up the JWT it has all the add ons with a sticker with the program code.

Proof of what, exactly?

You altered the car, there's no proof of anything, either way.

your going to make less power. A off the self program needs to have room for mistakes.

Guess what, your idol Boostlee and I are cool now, in fact I may purchase his B14 real soon. So just stop. All you do is spew negativity. This isn't fucking ClubSi. It's supposed to be the community of us guys and occasional gals who took the other track instead of Hondas. Not constant insult after insults.

Making fun of a guy for being born with poor hearing is really really low. I think most would agree with that. Yet you still keep coming into threads I'm in, no one forces you to click or reply, but everytime there you are. Don't know what you get out of it.

To see that the JWT programmed ECU wont make as much peak power but I guarantee you its making more torque. significantly more, like 10ft-lbs. Its pleasantly surprising. Then I'll throw the Nismotronic in there and see what I get.
