If I had a John Kerr (which I do) or Jamie Marsh tuned ECU. Playing with that component of my car would be the last thing on my mind.
You've gone through two headgaskets before I go through one set of front brake pads. That is something wrong and I stomp on my brakes hard as fawk. I would figure out why it keeps overheating.
Im not going to alter the MSD now, only after the dyno. And for the record the head gasket was going when I first bought the car 3 years ago. This most recent one really didn't "go" - it overheated because it had no oil, because of that piece of metal (whatever it was) obstructed about 70 percent of the pickup tube. Sheesh. No need to take this personally they are just toys built of aluminum plastic metal an fabric
BTW not that I could make a better one, in fact I'd have no idea and would have a better chance of flying around the room, but I don't think the Marsh ECU is that great anyway. It has nothing that the JWT or my new Nismotronic has. Same shit. VE tune, stock 333inj, N60 maf, N1 cams, except Marsh's had a 8400 fuel cut. Its not like he knows some crazy unknown technology. Its a 8 bit or whatever circuit board. At least when you open up the JWT it has all the add ons with a sticker with the program code.
