Check the ground on the activitation module, it may be switching on and off

i know for 1 the tach signal is not accurate switch would say 6300 while car would at 5900

Pull your cluster and pull the tach needle looser. that's what I do when it gets too slow to catch up to the motor

whats your afr when this is happening? if you dont have a wideband get one and come back with some more data. dont take storms advice. where are you getting your tach signal from? disconnect the controller and do an all motor pull without turning vvl on. This will eliminate other variables and can focus on the controller wiring if it makes a nice clean pull to redline

tach sign is coming from back of cluster its the controller i unplugged it ran way better all the way thru the power band

also i checked the pins in the connectors and got voltage on both sides one side was 14v and the other was if i remember 6.4v

check all your wiring over and if nothing try a different controller

Your vvl solenoids are turning on an off, that's why it is "bucking". I had this happen with the summit switch as well. Get a different window switch.

Haveing a simular problem aslo useing a summit digi window switch. Accept it engages (indicated by a blue light) for a split second at low rpm causing a shitty idle. Im gonna move some wires around to eliminate interference factor from the plug wires or distributor. I hope its not a bad switch.
