Pretty much yeah. Installed clutchmasters fx500 clutch in April, drove it for about 200-300 miles to break it in. It has not started since 2nd week in May. Only other thing I did was rewire the MAF because one wire pulled loose, and put a new cap and rotor on the distributor (on my 2nd of each now). Went to start the car and it made a funny clicking sound. It sounds real strong when cranking but just won't hit. All electrical accessories work.

I will do that tomorrow morning, thanks for the heads up. My back is killing me leaning over the car so long. Would a bad main engine ground have anything to do with the ECU throwing the crankshaft position code? Or could it?

have you traced all of the wires for the dizzy back to the ECU? Also is the ground to the dizzy good? Sounds like you might have a broken wire in the harness.

Or did you do a good job rewiring the maf? Not questioning your capabilities but you never know could be something that simple and I know you stated its a possible ignition issue.

Even though its in the garage that's lit, we ran out of daylight and with the door closed it gets sweltering hot in there, and w/ door open the bugs come flying in like no tomorrow. I got bit like 20 times already. Tomorrow we are going to trace every wire using the FSM and check out the entire harness. I expect another 4-6 hours. But its a lot easier when you have 2 friends helping you. I'm going into withdrawl, haven't driven the car in going on 6 weeks.

Well the car will still start up even if the MAF isn't connected at all, it will just run in limp mode and stall. At least mine will. I know because the one time I was messing with different cold air intake setups to see what made the most power at the dynojet and disconnected the MAF completely but had it on the intake and forgot to reconnect. Car started up but ran like crap, wouldn't rev past 3000RPM then stalled.

btw you are more than welcome and right to question my capabilities. as of lately I completely suck at life.

jk

but no seriously, I have no idea. middle of the summer, all the Civics are blowing past me while I drive my 1.8 liter B15 and revving on me b/c it has black wheels (no hubcaps, and I painted the steelies black, lol) and the se-r sits in the garage. seriously it better be that damn distributor! or the grounding thing they brought up.

What are you not getting? spark or fuel? or both? when you took take the dizzy off and key on and spin it do the park plugs spark and injectors click? Sounds like a wiring problem to me. Might want to find a professional to look at it since your color blind.
