Cold air is the way to go at least on NA VE's. I made 6WHP going from the filter coming off the N60 MAF vs the custom cold air intake I fabricated. I think I lost like 2 ft-lbs of torque way down low that's it.

Also, this was on a dynojet with just a fan blowing over the motor.. I'd imagine traveling at regular highway speeds that number could go up

edit found pics:

Warm air made 203 something

Then this was the cold air:

the world needs more Payu's... just tells it how it is, and backs it up with the 1/4 mile time slips.....diamond.

Making runners 8-9 inches is not impossible...curving the runners like the stock ones would remedy that by using Mandrel bent pipes with flaired oval ports at one end. But now we are talking bucks.

From the pics of Payu's Radius Cuts, it seems the wider the mouth, the more it scavenges are..much like the V Stacks. Maybe a machined version of it is the key with a little thicker flange for added runner length. ANything more and might as well have a WHOLE intake made to spec.

I have tuned both xcessive setups N1 with the 50mm stacks ported runers and everything and the regular runer version and both peak @ same rpm the shorter version holds more power after the peak

I'm currently working on porting the bottom runner, Payu has been helping me with info and advice.
The way I did it to ease the work on the dremel was I ported the bottom runner first till the runners looked as straight as possible and then placed the xcessive adapter plate and opened it up and made the radius cut.
