slicks?

just wondering i got some m & h slicks 24.5-8-13s i wanna try at our local drag strip i have a n/a ve best time was a 14.2 on street tires just curious to if i will even get off the line with these slicks?

Probably going to bog especially if its a stock b13/b14 trans. Better launch that thing off of the rev limiter. No, I'm not kidding either.

They will hurt your mph a lot as well for being so tall.

Just keep the pressure fairly high and you should be able to stay away from bogging. Launch like Bes said, and pre load the car hard. It should be ok.

True... Those are some big slick for the power your making all motor. I use the 24.5 in slicks on my 350+hp turbo cars and I think that's pushing it.

Cory on the money again.... Pre load that bitch haard. Make sure ur hand brake is adjusted perfect.... But try n get some 22s... What was ur 60' times like?

best 60ft time was a 2.222 yeah i only rev to 7.5k i guess ill stay away from using these slicks don't wanna bog or get a real sloppy time

Damn...i guess i need to practice...the best i can do is 14.6 with my 20V/N1 cams. I will be the first to admit i am pretty rusty. my 60' is 2.1....sad but true.
