maxing injectors on a ve.
So to explain just a bit I have a stock ve with headers, intake stock injectors and I have the nemu board for the most part it's a base tune the only thing I really touched was the fuel map cause in still learning tuning and don't want to touch the spark map cause I'm scared of it. I'm goin to the track this wed coming up so I wanna get the best numbers last year I ran a 15.21 with bad wheel hop bad spark plug wires (didn't know at the time) and my cross member had slight play in it but I wann run low 14 if possible in to the 13 any help would be great ty

You cannot calculate duty cycle.

You have to log the duty-cycle % in a gear pull all the way to redline.

If you have NEMU, connect your laptop, and add "Injector Duty" to the Log analyzer window. Start recording, and go out and do a pull. Review the log, and see what the maximum duty% was.

Piece of cake!

to calculate your injector duty cycle try this

RPM / 2 = X (ex. 8000 / 2 = 4000)
X / 60 = Y (ex. 4000 / 60 = 66.66)
Y * 0.20 = Z (ex. 66.66 * 0.20 = 13.332)
IPW in ms % of Z = IDC (ex. 12.44 % of 13.332 = 82.93 duty cycle)

Also, does the ECU not need to be reprogrammed for the swap out?

Ofcourse! But that takes only a few seconds with NEMU

D-Unit121's forumula is quite good to estimate the Duty%, but the only way to be sure is to log the actual value.
