



I think the coolant temp sensor needing to be swapped is just a popular myth. I didn't change mine and never had problems. All it is, is a temp dependent resistor anyway. There's no "jdm" temp sensor or anything to my knowledge.
Bad advice right here. I took a multimeter and measured the resistance at room temperature on both sensors. There was a VERY big Δ-R..
Is it possible one was faulty? Does anyone have the ve fsm page that shows the nominal resistance for the ve sensor? If you think about it, there's no reason why the two should be any different.
