sensors smached!! looking for new ones.
i just ordered an sr20ve with auto trans. online and when it finally arrived the tps sensor was smached , the idle control valve was broken and also the speed sensor on the transmission was smached... Where can I get new ones since it's a ve.. can I just buy de ones?

On my recent swap from a sr20de to a sr20ve I took my tps and idle control valve off the de, and put them on the ve, worked just fine, don't know about the speed sensor, but from people commenting in the past, they have switched a cable type speed sensor, to a wire plug in type, and it has worked just fine. Why don't you see if your present one will slide into it and seat. My 93 nx 2000 has the wire plug in type.
Are you going to use the auto trans in your car?
Good luck on the swap, What type of car are you putting it into? P10? If you have cruise control their is a very nice bracket that I got from a guy over on the G20 forum, it was on a thread in this forum also, that let you that lets you keep the cruise, you have to use a g20 throttle assembly so the cables will have places to attach, the sr20ve one won't let you hook up the cable for the cruise control.

Search for this post, the guy has been selling them since 2013.

Cruise/throttle cable brackets for VE with DE throttle body

either way silly to have an auto ve be shifting before the fun really starts

It's not silly to my dad..he's too old to be shifting at all, so he wants an auto.

FYI you might be getting a CVT "auto trans" with that motor. If you don't get the trans computer and all the sensors with it you will be up shit creek with just a boat anchor. Good luck with this swap it's going to be twice as hard as a ve 5spd swap.
