Checked bore in all cylinders today, only .0003" out of round, and .0006" bore variance between cylinders.. 1-3 are nearly identical.. #4 is almost .0007" larger than the others

Still tons of cross hatch throughout all cylinders.. Ima check svc limits

Not using them? What happened? You also have to follow the classified rules and post in the appropriate section btw.

Nope. GTiR studs are different than VE/DE/DET.. Regular thread pitch is M10x1.5 GTiR is M12x1.75 according to my thread pitch tools

And I started a thread there.. this is still my build thread

Ohhh yeah unless you had a gtir bottom end you can't use the 12mm studs from the GTIR you have to use the smaller ones.

You'd have to get the head machined too, I believe. Just sell them and buy the correct ones.

Yeah the head needs to be machined +1mm and also to suit the dowel. If you were going boost i would sell you my spare built GTIR bottom

Actually they are M11x1.5. The block can be machined and the head will need to be also if you run the GTi-R headstuds, but your doing N/A from what I remember so the regular size studs will be fine.

The box on the studs say m12, but they do look m11....
