Seems like your missing something here. You have been given ever option to correct this issue and it's not working. Post a few pics of your setup and throttle body area. Like I stated before the mechanical cold idle can cause all the issues your having. If its still intact it is effecting your idle. You can force the car to idle at what ever rpms you want regardless of what the ecu it doing. I ran not iacv and no idle control for years with no issue. FYI these car idle higher when rolling, watch your idle when coming to a stop see if the idle settles when rolling to a stop.

Some ECUs have a rolling idle function. I use a nismotronic and I can adjust my rolling idle mph.

Get a tune-able ECU, all your idle problems will go away.

I have spent a lot of time getting my idle perfect. The rolling idle and idle recovery are quite different between the VE and DE so some adjustment is needed.

Do you have any tips for these adjustments?

I have this annoying rolling idle jump (+400 or so rpm when clutch pressed rolling in gear) and idle recovery that goes from 1500 to 2500 and back to 1500 when cold, also jumps couple time when normal temp before going to normal idle... I have 2l VE and nistune with n15 GTi ecu(sr20de).
