Header Design
Planning on having a header designed. Have some specs to build off of from the help of other forum members but wanted to get more insight before I go through with plans. Header will be going on a stock ve with n1 cams and nitrous.

Specs:

1.75" Runners
25" Long Primaries
1 7/8" Slip 4-1 Collector
2.25" Choke

Those are great specs. Only thing I would suggest, is have another slip fit collector for spraying. Probably a 2.75 or 3in choke.

For all motor those specs are money. If you can get it a bit shorter, 22inches should be better depending on your intake and gearing.

Stock gearing and i/m for now, but will be changed down the line. That's the issue. For all motor, the specs seem spot on. But bringing nitrous into the mix makes me unsure if I should go with slightly larger primaries or a slightly bigger choke.

I have a 2" to 2.75" burns collector for sale if your interested. Would work wonders with a large shot of nitrous! 2.25 is to small for more than 75-100 shot. I also think those runners are not large enough for a good sized shot. I would do 1 7/8 stepped to 2" and follow Cory and get the runners down to 22-23"
Like this the car might not make as much on the motor but would pay dividends on the shot.

mike kojima signature header. custom header 4-1 25.5 primaries with two steps, 12.75” long 1.75" diameter, second step 12.75” long 1.875” diameter, Burns merged collector 2.25 venturi, megaphone with reverse cone.

myself ( and the whole sr20 world ) would be interested in what this will cost you to make, and you may just sit on your hands ( price wise) until Trackforged finish their 4-1 ve header (in development).

Honestly don't think I'd be spray more than 100 shot, 125 at most. Not going to be spraying the car all the time, so don't want to sacrifice too much n/a. However, if the gains on spray would benefit more than I would get n/a on a 100 shot I'd consider going 2.75". But being that I won't be spraying over a 100 shot as of now, seems like a 2.25" may suffice, maybe a 2.5" unless you guys think otherwise.

Thanks, definitely a good option. Im all ears. Going to see what others have to input.
