Thread: exhaust manifold gasket

hi guys, sorry for the newb question

but can i use a de or det exhaust manifold gasket on my ve? or are the ve ports larger?

i need a good quality gasket for my ve engine'd race car. Im in Australia

Bolt holes are different. Get a VE or VET gasket. The metal 7-layer VET reusable gasket from Greg is the way to go!

bolt holes really? i could have sworn that i trial fitted a rwd det turbo manifold on my ve head and it bolted up. but my memory could be failing me

genuine part number is 14036-8h600

Bolt pattern si same, head ports too, BUT in different height! Buy VE/VET gasket.
